Maddy Raven joins the indie PR team from a music PR and journalism background, working for agencies on household name campaigns.
Originally working in music journalism for Kerrang!, Music News and Conversations About Her, Maddy found herself addicted to the music industry from day one. Having reviewed, interviewed and most importantly partied with the likes of The Wombats, The Kooks, Slaves and Catfish and The Bottlemen, Maddy has always been on the indie music scene.
Soon becoming PR Manager for one of the leading UK music PR agencies, Maddy managed a team of music publicists and campaigns, gaining exposure for emerging bands with confirmed coverage in The Guardian, The Express, Kerrang TV, Balcony TV, The Telegraph, We Plug Good Music, Forbes, London Evening Standard and the list goes on.
Having worked with bands and brands from across the globe, Maddy’s previous clients include BMG, Sony Music and Trinifold Management.
Having worked in the music industry for nearly 4 years, Maddy has seen the major transformations that have led to a demand in different music PR methods. She has found Burstimo gives her the chance to explore and adapt traditional PR techniques, so the new music industry can be taken advantage of and help to gain exposure for bands that have the potential.
